Is full windshield replacement covered?
Full windshield replacement is not covered under the Windshield Repair benefit. However, DriveClub's Auto Glass Coverage benefit pays up to $100 of your deductible when getting windshield or smash-and-grab window repairs on your vehicle — which can help to defray the cost of replacing your windshield through your auto insurance policy.
How do I arrange for a windshield repair?
To be covered under this benefit, windshield repairs must be done by a repair facility within the approved network. Prior to any repair, however, you must contact our customer care team using the toll-free hotline available through your member dashboard. All windshield claims must be filed within three days of damage and repaired within five days to prevent further damage to the windshield.
Is mobile repair available?
Yes. In most metro areas, a certified technician can come to your home or office at a time that works for you.
How long does a chip repair take?
Most chip repairs take 20–30 minutes from start to finish.
What if a chip can't be repaired?
If a chip is too large or located in a critical vision zone, the technician will advise you on full replacement options. Contact DriveClub support for next steps.
