What qualifies as an emergency ride?
An emergency ride is provided when your covered vehicle is disabled (not due to an accident) and you need emergency transportation — rideshare, taxi, rental car, shuttle, or other commercial transportation — to an immediate destination. In this scenario, your DriveClub Emergency Ride Coverage will cover the ride up to $75. Private citizen assistance is not covered.
How do I submit a claim for my rideshare?
For instructions on filing a claim or further program details, log in to your DriveClub member account and call the toll-free hotline number provided there. Agents are available 24/7.
Can this benefit be used for planned maintenance appointments?
No. The Emergency Ride Coverage benefit only covers emergency transportation — taxicab, rental car, shuttle, or other commercial transportation — to an immediate destination. Scheduled service appointments and planned drop-offs do not qualify.
Which rideshare apps are covered?
Uber, Lyft, and most major rideshare and taxi services are covered. For further details, log in to your DriveClub member account and call the toll-free hotline number provided there.
